Louisville. A.K.A. Derby City. These days the city is probably best known as the home of The Most Exciting Two Minutes in Sports (a.k.a. The Kentucky Derby) the Louisville Slugger and bourbon.
We lived there for 20 years and the Louisville that I came to know and love didn’t really have much to do with the Derby or the Louisville Slugger. I was more interested in other, quieter parts of the city. This collection is a remembrance, a bit of nostalgia, from our time there.
