Słupsk

In 2017, we jumped at a chance to live and work in Europe. For several years, we made our home in Słupsk, Poland, a mid-size city about 12 miles from the Baltic Sea.

Before moving, we imagined that post-communist Poland was still a dour and drab place. We quickly discovered that the country is just the opposite; it is an energetic, colorful, proud country.

Słupsk ~ the colorful summers, the nearby Baltic Sea, the hundreds of student drivers on the road each day, the wind turbines, the foggy autumns ~ was our happy home for the better part of five years.
